Stimuli from the Laura Bassi programme

The Laura Bassi Centres of Expertise are research centres doing basic research at the interface between science and economy. In addition to the scientific excellence, the focus is on inter- and transdisciplinarity, management and career development. The impetus programme takes up current developments regarding the framework conditions for scientific work in research and provides stimuli for a research culture that allows researchers to develop their potential more efficiently.

An innovative selection process has been designed specifically for the impetus programme: it serves to evaluate management and career concepts by means of a specially designed future potential analysis.

The ongoing evaluation of the impetus campaign "Laura Bassi Centres of Expertise" is an essential instrument to base the further development of the impetus campaign itself on evidence as well as to learn from it for other promotion campaigns. The insights gathered will be published via the w-fFORTE platform "Knowledge creates insights".
