Access to research and technology for young people
The generation innovation internship, an initiative of the Federal Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology makes access to to research and technology for young people possible.
In summer 2010, over 1,000 students had the opportunity to take part in an internship in different companies and scientific research institutions. The best 20 trainees were awarded. Paul Schaffer, who completed his internship as part of BRIC and actively supported our team was honored for his outstanding achievements by Federal Minister Doris Bures and won an I-Pod Nano. Assoc.-Prof. Dr. Annelie Weinberg was honored for her commitment to youth development.
