VisuExplore
VisuExplore [Rind et al., 2010] an interactive visualization method for exploring a heterogeneous set of medical parameters over time.
- Screenshot showing a set of heterogeneous medical parameters of a diabetes patient.
Multiple groups of variables are visualized with different techniques in a multiple views display: Line chart, bar chart, timeline chart, and event chart. All views share a common time axis. Users can interact with the visualization through mouse actions inside each view, scrollbars, a toolbar for time, two toolbars for views, and the menu.

Gravi++
Gravi++ [Hinum et al., 2005] was designed to find predictors during the treatment planning of anorectic girls. - Patient icons in the middle of the display are positioned according to a spring-based model relative to the surrounding question icons. Traces represent the course of patients' health condition over time. Various interaction techniques allow to explore the time-oriented data set.

GROOVE
GROOVE (Granularity Overview Overlay Visualizations) [Lammarsch et al., 2009] are a set of pixel-based visualizations that integrate concepts of Recursive Patterns and the Multi Scale Temporal Behavior. - Left: Color-based overlay (green hue: low averages per block, blue hue: high averages per block, bright: low detail value, dark: high detail value). Top right: Example for recursive pattern arrangement along time granularities. Bottom right: Interactive spatial overlay.

PlanningLines
PlanningLines [Aigner et al., 2005] focus on the representation of temporal intervals and their uncertainties at a high level of detail. - Project plan of construction works represented using PlanningLines which allow the depiction of temporal uncertainties via glyphs consisting of two encapsulated bars, which represent minimum and maximum duration and are bounded by two caps encoding the start and end intervals.
